Welcome to the Women's Web Directory where women find information, services, facts and products that impact their lives on a day-to-day basis. The Women's Web Directory is a human edited directory that reviews sites both submitted and unsubmitted to determine the validity of that content within the needs and interest of women. Our editorial staff is diligent in ensuring that all content within the Women's Web Directory is valid to women of all ages and, if a site is submitted that does not meet that initial criteria, it is rejected.
This being said, there are certainly going to be sites that pertain to both genders and may well have significant importance to women and, if that is the case, the editorial staff will carefully review the website, make the determination that it is valid to women, and then make the approval. Our editors are also clear about the categories over which they have control. If a website that provides a service to women perhaps in the area of fashion design and it is submitted to a lingerie category, the site will be removed from entry. Conversely, if a website is submitted that presents valid and timely information about a woman's health issue and submitted to an erroneous category, the editor will, under her own authority,move that website to the appropriate classification. It is both the role and the purpose of the Women's Web Directory to present information, data, services and products relevant to women and their lives.
